CPACS (Center for Pan Asian Community Services) is a nonprofit organization based in Norcross, Georgia, dedicated to serving immigrants, refugees, and underrepresented communities through culturally and linguistically appropriate health, social, and education services. CPACS Cosmo Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), integrates primary and behavioral healthcare to provide comprehensive services in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive model. 1) The Court Liaison is a full-time position located in Norcross, GA, and serves as the main point of contact between the legal system and CPACS Cosmo Behavioral Center. This role involves coordinating with judges, attorneys, probation officers, and treatment providers to facilitate referrals, ensure client compliance, and advocate for appropriate care. Responsibilities include attending court hearings, preparing client reports, monitoring treatment progress, and engaging with community partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Counseling, or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, legal advocacy, or substance abuse treatment
Experience working with the court system strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
2) The Counselor (LPC, LCSW, ALPC) is a full-time or part-time position located in Norcross, GA, providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. This role includes conducting individual and group therapy, performing intakes and psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, making referrals, and maintaining documentation in compliance with agency and FQHC standards. The counselor works closely with a multidisciplinary team and participates in supervision and administrative meetings.
Qualifications:
Master’s or higher degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
Current state licensure (or in progress) by the Georgia Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or Social Workers
Strong knowledge of DSM-V and counseling methodologies
Experience in individual and group counseling
Familiarity with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills
Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Bilingual in English-Spanish or an Asian language preferred
3) The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is available as a full-time or part-time position located in Norcross, GA, and is responsible for psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and care coordination within a collaborative behavioral and medical health team. Duties include completing assessments, developing treatment plans, managing psychotropic medications, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The provider is expected to collaborate with counselors and primary care staff and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing
Valid licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Georgia
Clinical experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred
Strong knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Cultural competence; bilingual in English-Spanish or an Asian language preferred
4) The Psychiatrist is a part-time role located in Norcross, GA, serving within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) to provide psychiatric services in an integrated care model. This position includes comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, crisis intervention, and collaboration with other care providers to support underserved and diverse populations. Participation in interdisciplinary meetings and community outreach is expected.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Unrestricted medical license in Georgia
Current DEA registration with authority to prescribe Schedule II–V medications
Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations
Proficiency with electronic health records and telepsychiatry platforms
Bilingual (Spanish-English) or multilingual preferred
Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
Strong collaboration and communication skills
