Thank you for reaching out to the LAA for advising. Our goal with advising sessions is to help our community and students to find a pathway to success. In collaboration with our college advisors, students will create a roadmap that may include application deadlines, essay resources, career resources, etc.

We ask that you be patient with us and be aware of your email and phone for communication from us. Appointments will be virtual. The only appointments that will be taken in person are FAFSA and any special application questions. Due to high demand, we can only see people in the office on an appointment basis. A reminder that we are a resource provider. We will point you to the resources and refer you to the people necessary to complete every step.

  • The student is the one who should be filing out these forms and the ones attending the meetings. Students – please do not put your school email, please put your personal email.

The appointments are virtual. Please arrive on time, after 5 minutes without prior communication I can no longer take you during that time and you will have to reschedule another appointment. If you know ahead of time that you will be late please let me know so I can check if I can still see you. At this appointment we will make a plan and see if further appointments are needed. Thank you in advance for your help and support, I hope to see you soon!
